Yundamindra Project
The Yundamindra Project is approximately 60km southeast of Leonora
and comprises one granted Exploration Licence and one Licence application covering
approximately 156km2. The granted Bunjarra Well Licence (E39/1976) lies along the eastern
margin of the KKTZ and is extensively covered by recent alluvium. The bedrock geology
comprises deformed mafic to intermediate igneous rocks, epiclastic sediments,
with localised ultramafic and granitoid rocks of the Kurnalpi Terrane.
Gold mineralisation is associated with quartz
veined saprolitic sheared basalt, gabbro and ultramafic units immediately adjacent
to and within a granite. The mineralisation is open to the north and south
along strike and the primary mineralisation has not been tested at depth.
Interpretation of the gravity geophysical data and stitched regional aeromagnetic data acquired by OreCorp has greatly enhanced the structural and bedrock interpretation of the project.
