Jeff Quartermaine
Chairman

Mr. Jeffrey Quartermaine was appointed to the role of managing director and chief executive officer of Perseus Mining Limited, on 1 February 2013 after previously serving as the group’s chief financial officer from 2010 to 2013. Since assuming the role of CEO, Mr Quartermaine has played a major role in turning Perseus into a viable business by formulating and implementing a growth strategy designed to transform Perseus into a multi–mine, multi-jurisdictional gold producer with production in excess of 500,000 ounces from 2022 onwards.

Mr Quartermaine has more than 30 years’ experience in senior corporate, financial, and strategic management roles with ASX and TSX-listed resources companies involving operations in Australia, as well as countries in Asia Pacific, South America, and West Africa. He is a Fellow of the Society of Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) who holds both business management (MBA) and civil engineering qualifications (BE).

Mr Quartermaine was appointed to the Board of OreCorp on 10 April 2024.

Lee-Anne de Bruin
Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director


Ms Lee-Anne de Bruin is a Certified Chartered Accountant, Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Accounting from the University of Witwatersrand (Johannesburg). Ms de Bruin is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Perseus Mining Limited as well as a Director of the Perseus subsidiaries in Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire.

Ms de Bruin has over 18 years of senior financial, operational, and strategic management and board director experience across multiple industries and jurisdictions. She has extensive experience in the resources sector, and has held senior positions at Gem Diamonds, BHP, Newmont, and Resolute Mining before joining Perseus in 2020.

Ms de Bruin was appointed to the Board of OreCorp on 10 April 2024.

Michael Klessens 
Non-Executive Director

Mr Mike Klessens is a CPA with over 30 years’ practical financial and management experience, particularly within the resources industry. This experience has involved all areas of corporate and treasury management, project financing, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, dual listings, feasibility studies and establishment of systems and procedures for new mining operations. From 2002 - 2011, Mr Klessens was Vice President - Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Equinox Minerals Limited where he was responsible for finance, debt and equity financings, treasury and all financial functions of the company and its operations. Prior to Equinox, Mr Klessens held senior positions in mid-tier Australian resource companies primarily focused on gold.

Mr Klessens joined the Board of OreCorp as a Director on 27 February 2013.

Jessica O'Hara
Company Secretary


Ms Jess O’Hara is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience advising clients on general corporate law and regulatory/compliance issues. She has previously held senior positions at both Clayton Utz and Allen & Overy and more recently, had experience acting as in-house legal counsel. Ms O’Hara has advised a significant number of ASX-listed clients with operations in Australia and overseas, with specific experience within the mining and resources sectors.

Ms O’Hara joined OreCorp as legal counsel in August 2021 and was appointed joint company secretary on 6 December 2021 (and subsequently became sole company secretary as from 31 January 2022).

Greg Hoskins
Chief Financial Officer

Mr Greg Hoskins is a chartered accountant with more than 20 years’ experience across a range of sectors including resources, education and financial services. After commencing his career with international accounting firm Ernst & Young, Mr Hoskins has gained extensive financial and corporate experience in both Australia and internationally, within the areas of corporate and treasury management, acquisitions, mine development and establishment of systems and procedures for new mining operations. More recently Mr Hoskins was the Group Finance Manager at Base Resources Limited and was integral in establishing the finance function at the Kwale operation in Kenya, which has since achieved consistently strong results.

Mr Hoskins joined OreCorp as Chief Financial Officer on 27 February 2023.
